I've had some terrible news about my father. He's still alive.

Crossposted a bit because I'm an attention seeking ninny.

Bad times - my father has hassled me in the street and then spent days on end harrassing me with unwanted text messages.

I have been on the point of either going over there and hitting him or calling a lawyer. However he finally addressed some of my concerns via a dramatic voicemail (although he is a pathological liar, so it's not really worth the microchips it's recorded on. Still, at least he made the effort to actually come up with a plausible lie rather than just verbal abuse).

After yet another fucking text message I rang him to ask him not to text me, and I ended up telling him that he always called me an albatross around his neck, so now that I'm gone he should be happy, and to enjoy his freedom.

Of course this was too much like having the last word, so after about 20 minutes he phoned back and claimed that he wanted to speak to me one more time and then he would never phone me again, it seemed rather Silence Of The Lambs but what the hell. I got a rant of hate, and was not allowed to answer any of the bullshit he spouted or respond in any way. He came out with some really sick shit though - like, apparently, "some people say" that the abuse I received at his hands "wasn't enough". Yes, that's right, beating and torturing a small boy to within an inch of his life on a regular basis is not only acceptable, but you can actually not do it enough. Classy.

What a scumbag psycho. I feel really weak for letting him do this to me. If he gets in touch with me again I am getting an injunction and if he bothers me in the street and lays hands on me, he's looking at getting his face smacked. (he is one of those people who has an annoying habit of touching you, grabbing you, etc - because to them you are just a thing.)

Bastard.

Still - no SH for ELEVEN DAYS tomorrow - wooh!
