there is an evil rumor going around about maynard james keenen finding jesus.

i am so mad about this. this is either the greatest prank, or the most depressing truth. i love tool and a perfect circle. i love their messages, i love their musicians, i love their lyrics. if maynard is serious, then i will never listen to them again. a person who can think for himself, who writes so eloquently, who sings so beautifully, who has fought against being a sheep in his wonderful music, has now turned to the other side. i am reluctant to believe, but sometimes people change. i am not losing a leader, or anything like that. but anyone who has heard tool or a perfect circle knows that this is the ultimate in hypocrisy. such talent, and such a message, lost. it can no longer be tool without maynard, and i'll fuck myself with a rusty railroad spike before i listen to any songs about him 'finding the light' or anything like that...he was not the entire band, but it was that sort of band where all the members fit perfectly like a puzzle, and take one of those members away, and your puzzle sucks.

if he is serious, he has become what he so blatantly disapproves of. if he is serious, he's just another mindless fuck. and fuck him, if he is serious.

FUCK YOU, MAYNARD, IF YOU ARE SERIOUS, FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING SHEEP. EVERYTHING YOU WROTE WILL BE OBSOLETE, EVERYTHING YOU WERE WILL BE SHIT. YOU ARE JUST LIKE THEM. FUCK YOU MAYNARD, AND FUCK YOUR GOD.

I saw "The Grapes of Wrath" last night. Good acting. Scary dark theatre....saw a pure white man walking in the walls. It's almost hard to believe that the U.S., being so rich and powerful, actually had a huge depression like that.

I had to keep myself from jumping around insanely when they had managed to make it rain on stage. I love Syracuse theatre.

By the way, thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. It made me feel a bit more secure.
