Psychology Today, you have FAILED

I just read an absolute BULLSHIT article on Psychology Today. It was complete, utter crap. Is Mom to Blame? This article claims that ( parents are not responsible for their children's psychological well-being. )
This is utterly untrue. Identical twin studies (to be clear, identical twins have identical DNA and therefore the same genes that would predispose them to developing certain mood or personality disorders) involve pairs of identical twins who are raised in separate, different environments, and among these there is enough evidence to conclusively say that the home and social environment in which a person is raised has considerable effect on the development of those disorders. I don't have a citation because I learned it from my psychology classes, so I assume this is common knowledge among the psychology community. How can they make this claim?
(Note to self: Double-check lj-cuts when stoned.)
