Ok, so I don't know why, when I read this article, I automatically thought of this place.
So I'm sure you have all heard (at least) of Rasputin?
Well, just if anyone was interested, my mother gets a History magazine from the History Channel every month or so and when she saw the article on him, she thought of me, because I was always fascinated by him after seeing the animated movie Anastacia.
So, I thought I would post the article, incase anyone was interested//as bored as I am tonight.

Grigori Rasputin was born a peasant in Siberia in 1869.  Often called the 'mad monk', there is little evidence that he recieved a formal noastic education, and although he spent time as a religious recluse it thought he was unable to read anything but the most basic scriptures.  He has been linked with Khkysty - and outlawed sect that pursued redemption through sin, engaging in flagellation and group sex.  This has never been conclusively proved; however, by some means, Rasputin developed an aura of spiritual authority and a gift for preaching that allowed him to exert massive influence over the Tsar and Tsarina of Russiam for which he is so famous.

In 1903, he arrived in St. Petersburg.  The autocratic Tsar Nicolas II was committed to finding 'holy' men among Russia's peasants as he believed in a trintity of God, Tsar and people.  Rasputin flattered his fantasies was soon considered a family member.

Yet it was Tsarina Alexandra who gave Rasputin his golden ticket into corridors of power.  her son Alexis suffered from haemophilia - at this time an incurable and usually fatal disease.

Rasputin seemed to possess an ability to check internal bleeding; the so-called 'spala miracle' of October 1912, where he apparently saved Alexis's life through prayer, made his position at Alexndra's court unassailable.  His political influence reached its zenith during the First World War.  In 1915, Nicholas took charge of internal affairs.  Rasputin accepted bribes, gifts and sexual favours to use his influence over Alexandra's appointment of church officals and cabinet ministers.

Lascivious sexual exploits and allegations of rape and public indecency earned him the oppostion of powerful politicians like Prime Minister Stolypin.  Yet Nicholas would not expel him from court as long as Alexandra believed he could help her son.  In 1916, Rasputin was assassinated by a group of extreme conservatives.  Through the murder strengthened Alexandra's resolve to uphold the principle of autocracy, the entire imperial regime would be swept away by revolution within a few weeks.

This was an email I just sent someone, but please give me some advice, feedback of any kind... I'm crashing so hard... so hard...

'I don't know what to do.
I feel like I want to call him, to message him, or
something! Should I? Is it really that wrong to let
him know I still care and I love him? People say
fight for what you want, fight for what you love... So
then should I drop him a message? Call him? Let him
know I'm still here waiting for him to be ok to be my
friend again?
We went a long time last time without talking... Then
we became friends again and then shortly after,
lovers. I want him to know he has me until the very
end. Until the world stops for me and then after that
still. I want him to know that no matter what we have
done to each other I will still be there for him,
waiting for him... Eager to see him again.

Please tell me your thoughts... Because right now I
can't tell what to do. I'm so close to calling him...'
