heres a song that me and my brother [livejournal.com profile] setisjay wrote about the innocent physical damage we inflicted on our youngest brother [livejournal.com profile] gidgetjon.. some by accident, some intentional, some completely not-our-doing but we laugh about this stuff to this day.
and no, dont adjust your stereos... [livejournal.com profile] setisjay did the music so its an unconventional song.
also, added in there is how outsiders view our family and the goings on
for that part: featuring vocals from [livejournal.com profile] seven_veils and [livejournal.com profile] buffywillowgrrl

Yesterday evening, I got another tattoo. Woot. I got the kanji symbol for water tattooed on my left wrist. It's still bandaged up right now...the guy told me to leave it on for 24 hours. But said I could take it off a little before that if I wanted to. So around 4 I'm gonna take the bandage off. I can't wait! I haven't peeked at it at all. :-( My friend took pics of it for me, so I'll post them as soon as she sends them to me.
I even checked with my boss, to see if it was okay that I got a tattoo on my wrist. I wasn't sure if they had a policy. But I told her, if it wasn't acceptable in the company, then I'd wear a sweat band around my wrist while I was at work. She didn't think it would be a problem, even if I didn't wear a sweat band. So anyways, she had to go to a meeting with her boss and said she'd double check with her. So afterwards, she called me back and told me it was fine. I didn't have to wear a sweat band! Woot! She gave me a really funny example. She said,"It just can't be something that'll raise too much intrigue. For instance, I'm not implying anything, but if you got a tattoo of a rainbow, you'd have to be ready to give some sort of explanation if the clients in the house asked about it." I found that ABSOLUTELY hilarious! I mean, do I really STILL look gay? Ever since I grew out my hair, I thought I looked a little more straight LOL, but I guess they assume that just because I 'look' like a straight girl, doesn't mean that I am. I like that though. No stereotypes at my place of work. :-) Lucky me.

Okay, before I get flamed to hell, let me say that I understand the situation and why it needs to be done. That being said...

Anybody watch the news this morning. I was up all night (because sleep and stress don't go together), so I was able to see this at around 645am:

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/08/10/us.security/index.html

The Secretary of Homeland Security was on there for about an hour trying to alert folks to the fear they should be feeling.

It's getting really ridiculous, and you just feel like going vigilante on some of these folks. How hard is gonna be to board a plane in 10 years? *shakes head*

I guess my one positive, because I'm needing to do this, is that it's gonna be harder for my cousin to get through the airport next week. *Gets giddy*
